In the process, we work on a number of aspects such as child protection, child care, child development, and youth skills development to benefit children at our development centers across urban and rural Bangalore.

ISACA celebrated Community Day on Saturday the 7th Oct Saturday 2023, as part of ISACA Bangalore Chapter Community. ISACA Bangalore Chapter volunteers visited the NGO Sparsha (Makkala Dhama) located on outskirts of Bangalore city. Community Day exemplifies our purpose, promise, and values with a day of service around the world. Not only we can help individuals realize the positive potential of technology, but together, we can help people realize the positive potential of ISACA’s global network.
ISACA Bangalore volunteers celebrated ISACA’s global Community Day! Kudos to the team for their eager spirit of volunteerism and gift of sharing! It was another incredible way to give back to the community and make a positive impact to our local community.
It was indeed a privilege to visit Makkala Dhama institution, a multi-dimensional residential development center for girls in need of protection, care, education, and development. The chapter had also contributed a packet of sweets, stationery and other utensils for over 220 students, the entire effort was warmly accepted and appreciated by the institution. We are sure our little support will enable Sparsha mission and contributing towards the society with the objective of creating a safe home for every child with free access to basic facilities like food, health, education, and clothing, providing skills-oriented education to empower underprivileged children and youth. It was also a treat to the eyes to witness all the creativity of the children, which bloomed in the form of wonderful artifacts, a green house, and gardening. The children of Makkala Dhama also performed individual and group dances. It was heartwarming to see the individual performers express themselves through movement and showcase their passion for dance. The confidence and grace with which they performed were truly remarkable. The group dance performances were also equally impressive. Watching the children come together as a cohesive unit, synchronizing their movements was delightful experience.
As part of the program, the ISACA EC team had the opportunity to share their thoughts with the children on how to be secure when engaged in online activities, as all the children who attend online classes and remote learning and starting to use social media.
