Announcing A 2 Day hands on Workshop on COBIT 5 on 24-25, August 2018

Dear Members,


I am pleased to inform you that ISACA, Bangalore chapter is organising 2-day hands on workshop covering the core philosophy and principles of COBIT best practices so that you can learn and implement COBIT in your practical area of work.

This unique workshop has been designed and will be conducted by CA. Abdul Rafeq who is experienced practitioner of COBIT right from first edition and is also past member of COBIT 5 Task force. It is privilege for participants to learn COBIT 5 directly from a member of COBIT 5 task force (who designed and created COBIT 5). Hence, participants can expect to learn essence, macro and micro perspective of selecting/using from vast repository of COBIT knowledge repository.

The new Technology platforms and business models require new paradigm and new ways of thinking for implementing right balance of security and controls to ensure availability of information. COBIT provides the right blend of practices and approach from both Governance and Management perspective and continues to remain relevant and add value to its users.

This workshop is specially designed to provide you a quick overview of COBIT offerings and their relevance. However, the major focus is to help you learn and practice specific techniques on how you can navigate and dive deep into the COBIT knowledge repository to select and adapt relevant best practices so as to add value to enterprises/clients.

The workshop will enable you to use the conceptual understanding of COBIT principles, enablers, dimensions, goals and metrics for practical application of Management practices, RACI Chart, Input-Output matrix, activities and related guidance.
