2-Day Hands on Workshop on COBIT 5 on 11-12 May 2012,

ISACA Bangalore Chapter is organizing the first ever workshop on COBIT 5 in India. COBIT 5 provides an end-to-end business view of the governance of enterprise IT that reflects the central role of both information and technology in creating value for enterprises. Bangalore chapter has been always at the forefront in organizing COBIT training programs since the first edition of COBIT in 1996. Mr. A. Rafeq, past member of COBIT 5 task force is conducting this workshop. Mr. Babu Jayendran, GRC Consultant is inaugurating the workshop and delivering key note address.

The World is changing – Are we? – Role of Auditors and the Audit Risk

The Topic: The talk will be focusing on the Role of the auditors and the audit risk in the rapidly changing control and regulatory environment.  As the regulatory requirements are becoming stricter and the risks are evolving, there is a constant need for the auditors to adapt to the changing control environment. The role of the audit function in the current context and the need to evaluate the audit related risks.

The Speaker:  Mukunthan Narasimhan is a CISM, CISA, CISSP has more than 14 years of experience in Information Security consulting and IT Audits. He has helped many financial institutions globally in enhancing their internal control environment. He is an empanelled faculty in ISACA Bangalore chapter to take the CISA and CISM review courses. He currently works as Vice President in the Internal Audit Department at Goldman Sachs.
