Seminar Objectives: The primary objective of this workshop is to present the participants with a practical perspective of using the COBIT 4.1 as Control and IT Governance Model for benchmarking and providing proactive assurance. Through case study discussions, participants will learn a systematic approach and implementation strategy on how to effectively use and efficiently integrate COBIT Model into their audits as required.Participants will learn how to implement COBIT 4.1 as the IT Governance model to which they can link their enterprise-specific operational and control requirements, policies, and standards. Participants will learn the step-by-step methodology designed by the speaker based on his extensive experience in using COBIT for IT Governance, IS Assurance and consulting assignments.

Note:  Those who have attended this 1-day workshop are eligible to attend the 2-day official workshop on “Implementing COBIT for IT Governance” without attending the COBIT Foundation course.

His special areas of interest are COBIT and CAAT software.  He has extensive experience in auditing diverse technology platforms for clients in India and abroad. Rafeq has made presentations for various Professional Associations. He has conducted more than 150 days of training in India and abroad for IT and Audit professionals on IT Audit and COBIT®.
