Page 21 of 22 BCM-200: Fundamentals and Awareness on 9th September - Click here to register BCM-200 is a ONE-DAY workshop, which gives an overview of the 10 Professional Practices, which is the globally accepted body of knowledge for Business Continuity Practitioners. Successful completion of the exam held on the last day will enable participants to apply for the BCCP Certification awarded by the Business Continuity Management Institute (BCMI). At best, a business disruption due to a disaster, emergency or crisis would lead to financial losses, penalties and legal liabilities. At worst, the organization would perish. This workshop will give you an outline of the steps involved and the terminology used in Business Continuity Management (BCM), which will help you to effectively support BC Plans in your organization. This in turn would reduce and mitigate the impact of business disruptions, leading to enhanced customer trust and confidence – a critical ingredient for long term success. Objectives: Gain an appreciation of the criticality of BCM, and its key drivers, Understand the BCM framework, terminology and the BC Planning Methodology. Identify the differences between BCM, Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management and Emergency Response Understand the globally recognized and widely accepted 10 Professional Practices framework Walk through the critical steps involved in creating a Business Continuity Plan, such as Risk Analysis, Business Impact Analysis, Recovery Strategy and Plan Development Appreciate the essential steps in Program Management such as Awareness and Training, Exercising, Testing and Maintenance and Plan Updating Certification:The 90 minute, 50-Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) based examination is conducted on the last day of the workshop. Attaining 75% minimum pass marks would enable participants to apply for the Business Continuity Certified Planner (BCCP) certification awarded by the Business Continuity Management Institute.
